Flexible and user-friendly

CORAX supports the management and storage of goods of several inventory owners. Examples in this regard include different close corporations within a single enterprise or several customers of a logistics service provider. Although inventories are kept separate in administrative terms, administrative users and radio frequency (RF) users may simultaneously work for several inventory owners if authorized to do so.
CORAX makes it possible to manage inventory and flows of goods at several, separate storage locations using a single system. If authorized to do so, a user can access several warehouses or operational areas. Inventory levels at each warehouse and at all warehouses taken as a whole are always specified in real time.
Users can easily be created and managed. Authorization is based on role. One or more roles can be assigned to a user.
All master data can easily be recorded in detail in CORAX. Administrative and logistics control parameters are recorded at several levels, for instance at the level of an individual item or at the level of a product group. In addition, all relevant details of suppliers, customers and carriers can be recorded in CORAX.
Each warehouse environment can easily be organized in CORAX. Each physical warehouse, area, aisle, rack, and position can be defined in CORAX. Dynamic location identification ensures that goods are always brought to or picked up from the right location. The location management functionality provides real-time, detailed information on the use of each location.
Following receipt of the goods, CORAX directs the acceptance inspection on the basis of the configuration settings in CORAX. These settings can be recorded at different levels. After the registration process, CORAX automatically selects the best storage location. The transfer to the selected location is also recorded. This transfer can then be communicated in printed form or by means of RF to the right resource.
The entire order process for outbound goods is supported. Orders are managed in CORAX and can be released to the workplace in waves or individually. Order picking then takes place in real time by means of RF or printed communications. The progress of each order is monitored at all times by means of status updates.
CORAX makes it possible to perform consolidation work after the order picking process. Prior to being placed in the delivery vehicle, the goods picked can be placed together on outbound pallets.
CORAX makes it possible to carry out the replenishment of the pick positions in real time. If the inventory level at the pick position of an item drops below the set minimum or if required for the fulfillment of an order, CORAX can automatically generate a replenishment order. These orders are assigned to a suitable resource in the right order of priority.
The CORAX work management functionality shows the user overviews of the available, assigned, reserved and closed tasks in the warehouse. By changing the order of priority of the tasks created, for example, certain warehouse activities can be adjusted as and when necessary.
Activities in the workplace can be directed by means of the CORAX-Ap on a Android or IOS device. Communication regarding the receipt process, putaway, order picking process, countings and complete pallet movements takes place in real time with the user who has the right role. The instructions are displayed to the RF worker in a modern user interface with touchscreen capabilities.
CORAX can be used to create counting orders in printed form or to count on an ad hoc basis. Depending on the configuration, this counting can take place at the level of location, area, or item. Counting lists can be printed. Ad hoc counting orders can be carried out for each RF.
CORAX has an integrated document and report generator. This tool makes it relatively easy to design reports and/or labels according to the customer’s wishes. These reports and labels can also be directly retrieved from CORAX’s screens.
CORAX has a comprehensive track and trace functionality that logs changes in inventories, activities, items received, deliveries, and so on. Data on deliveries and items received, for example, can be retrieved from the database at all times.
CORAX is available in several languages. The desired language can be set by each user.
CORAX can be integrated into the existing IT infrastructure by means of interfaces. The standard XML/JSON/CSV messages for, among other things, items received, storage confirmations, dispatching orders, dispatching order confirmations, stock adjustments, inventory, and master data are exchanged through a REST-API, FTP-server and/or Service Bus. Transformations can be easily configured in order to easily organize integration with other applications.
CORAX can be linked to a delivery management system. A delivery management system is the middleware application that has a link between the consignments in CORAX and linked carriers like DHL and UPS.
Traceability is a key aspect of food safety, i.e., to trace food products and the ingredients of food products to the source. Traceability is a requirement under the EU’s General Food Law Regulation. Every distributor of food products must comply with this Regulation. CORAX provides detailed information on the origin, producer, best-before date, license plate (SSCC), and receiving customer of all food products. This information makes it easy to trace and block food products that have passed through the warehouse and, if necessary, rapidly remove such products from the chain by means of a recall.
